Telling the Untold Stories

For as long as I can remember, art has been my passion and my calling. After spending many years creating and honing my craft, I retired, which allowed me to fully immerse myself in my work. This new chapter has given me the opportunity to dedicate my time to a mission that’s been close to my heart: using my art to preserve and celebrate African-American history.

My creations are deeply inspired by the rich, often overlooked stories of African-American culture and the powerful figures who’ve shaped history. Through my work, I aim to bring these untold narratives to life, ensuring that the history and experiences of my community are not forgotten.

The inspiration for my art comes from the everyday moments, struggles, and triumphs of the African-American community. Each piece I create is a reflection of the strength, resilience, and beauty that has defined generations. I incorporate elements like mixed media, collage, and found objects, as they allow me to capture the depth and texture of these stories in ways that traditional methods simply can’t. My goal is not just to make art, but to tell the stories that matter, to inspire reflection, and to create pieces that resonate.
